The mound builders grew wealthy from trading services, art, and other things that brought them wealth. This process is called bartering and it made some of the mound builders rich. The mound builders art is very interesting they made a hand, a bird, and even some really cool decorated pots! they built mounds for worshiping their gods, burial sites, and for other religious reasons.
